Styling cues - production cars.

I saw one of the new Saab 9-5s yesterday.
Straight away, I recognised something quite familiar about it.

It may seem a bit nuts and it's an entirely different car, but I reckon there's a bit of Koenigsegg flavour in there somehow.

As I said, totally different cars, but somehow.

The way the lines converge to the rear of the side glazing and sweep up.

Feel free to disagree, just an observation of what appears to me to be an obvious styling cue.

Just like GM have borrowed the Hofmeister Kink for the Insignia.

It's all in the glazing and roof line as you said

Converging glass to the rear, and flush obscured A-pillars to make a floating roof on the front.

Incidentally, the Nissan GT-R has a family resemblance

Looks remarkably like this to me

Oh dear, what's with Terry?
Oh dear, it's not right
The local cars are not so pretty,
But they are if you see them through Terry's sight

Well, at least a couple of you got it.

You recognised the overall shape of the glasshouse in both cars. And, yes, the shape of the side window in the little Skoda is also very very similar to the supercar.
You, are of course Gentlemen of learning and your views should be considered to carry some gravity.

The rest of you have demonstrated that you are no more than a band of philistines and your views will, as a consquence of these failings, be ignored.

Is the 9-5 not a stretched Insignia as someone else has already said, Thus technically more this

In drag.

I don't really understand what your getting at, It's a nice looking car though I reckon the BLS replacement based on the platform will look better (If they build it).
