Ford focus 1.8 tdci SPORT
No 1 son is looking at one in the paper adverts. what are they like in general for running costs/insurance etc.
Discuss.

I'm guessing the "sport" bit is a rare trim level or someone's sticker...
I can tell you that engine's bigger brother has done me for over 50k miles without missing a beat and there's been bugger all gone wrong
with it.

Yep it is a trim level.

Good car choice the sport is official ford trim spec i have the 1.6TDCI 110bhp focus and its been spot on
The 1.8TDCI engine is 115bhp road tax is a bit more than mine i only pay £90 for the year and only 5 bhp behind

great car, said it many time but here it is again, Focus diesel most reliable and well screwed together car owned to date in its class.

Meh my gf's Polo is 100bhp (remapped) 1.4 TDI and only £35/yr tax
