Sill repairs...texture
I've patched the sills on my old monster but the patches are clearly smooth when the surrounding metalwork is covered in textured
paint/chipproofing from the factory. What's the best way of returning the texture and what products would anyone use? I've a couple of
options :-
Filler, stippling tool of some sort - no idea how.
filler the remaining dimples to smooth, then paint everything smooth.
Try to find a paint/stone chip paint that'll re-create the original texture.
Thoughts?

What's the likelyhood of it matching the existing texture and not looking stupid?

allow to dry then finish with topcoat.

What about driving through some muddy puddles and then forgetting all about it.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Or, if its low enough, waxoil along the sill and underneath.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?
