new Snetterton layout trackday

done a trackday on the new Snetterton 300 track at the weekend in tintop, it was a good improvement on the old layout

some interesting cars there

The new infield section is surprisingly fast and flowing. But I don't like the new 180deg corums corner though you have to coast last bit of it to ensure you can slow down enough for the last corner think there is going to be a few incidents there on last lap dive's
Had a chat with Jonathan palmer on Sunday too who was there he said that's the idea as corner will have lots of different ways to attack.

A close look at the Cararo and I think it is an IVA fail, front arches don't cover enough rear tyre and rear number plate not vertical.
I still like it a lot.

The Caparo must be local/fond of Snetterton. The same one was running at a Friday test I did in 2009. It wasn't that quick though... not compared to the Mossler GT1 racer anyhoo.
