IVA Sheffield

Afternoon all,
just about to send off for My IVA and was initially going to go to Notts but last night whilst being dragged to ASDA at Handsworth Sheffield we went past a VOSA testing station there. Just wondered if any one had any feed back good or bad from the Sheffield site.

Thanks,Sean

They don't do IVA's at the Sheffield site.

I work on the industrial estate, its just an HGV and PSV test station. Notts is the nearest, and have a good reputation.

A pint for the gent and a white wine/fruit based drink for the lady. Those are the rules

Had my Zero IVA'd at Watnall, Nottingham.

The guy who did the test (Martin) was a great help with my initial nerves
when i got there, and i soon discovered he was an understanding human being....

Not a Robotic Jobsworth like some of the ones elsewhere i've heard of.

Told me not to fret, and anything simple he might find i could have time to sort if needed.
When checking the front brake performance for example, he said he wasn't happy with the rear
brake force being so close to the front figures..... i paniced big time.... he then says to me....

oh, you've got Wilwoods up front haven't you? i'll warm them up a bit and check again as it's minus
11 deg C today and the car hadn't ever turned a wheel in anger.
10 minutes later he said they where great and moved on with the test.
(Couldn't perform a lock up test whilst driving due to the 10" of snow covering the car park)

Nick.

my opinion might be wrong you know...
