Apparently they are very sweet 'handlers' and some are eligible for historic racing - including some of the more high-profile events.

Marcos MK VI Road car and the highly competitive GT version that competed so successfully at Le Mans in ’66.
The Mini Marcos still holds four National Land Speed Records and has twice won the Mod Sports Championship.

They are so ugly that the scare other drivers and cause them to crash so you win the race

thought they were banned from Le Mans ..... can't remember why, may have been they're not fast enough

They weren't banned in the 60's. Everything raced then.
