Just dropped my axle off to have a slippy diff fitted and set up, place was full of Mk1 & Mk2 escorts..........

Local (ish) chap never even knew he existed, old school set up and brimming with knowledge.

Had the same when picking up a replacement rs2000 halfshaft from Stoke.

I had a similar experience with the guy who rebuilt the 4-speed in my Locost - Bob Dowen

When I went to pick up my V8 off ebay the place was full of Mk1 Escorts and Capri's.... heaven..

Bloke up the road for me... knock on the garage and if he's in.. 3 mint concours Mk1 Mexico's and a RS2000...

Another bloke just out the back.. big garage.. 1950's Scammell - mint. 1910 steam roller.. again mint.

Theres tons of that sort of things round here.
