nothing wrong with a ricer. you know it will never go wrong. i once watched a crx have its oil drained out then it was run until is seized (took abour 10 mins) they let it cool down put the oil back in it then started it. it did sound worse for wear but i couldn't believe it started again.

£5 - 15,000 for the body kit.

I wish someone would do a piston engine conversion kit, like there was for the old RX's

There are numerous RX7's with Chevy LS* V8s in them

Drove my 3S-GTE on zero oil (and I mean zero) for 3+ miles, including boosting lightly before I remembered that I'd not re-filled it from months before. Stopped, called out the other half with my new oil, refilled it - working fine for another 20K since, no loss of pressure, no metalic bits in the oil. I'm shocked. But when it does go wrong its very pricey.

Nothing wrong with jap cars, they generally know how to make things work, and work well.

Look at V6 for a start:
Duratec - 150-190 in stock form from a 2.5 or 3.0, rev to 6300.
Alfas - not too sure but not too high
Vauxhall - similar to Duratecs. Heavy, sod all power to displacement.
Mitsubishi - in the early 90s were making a 2 litre V6 that revved to 8K all day long and made 200hp.

Every time I look for a donor for my design project I struggle to walk away from the japanese engines.
