I think the formulas are a bit out and a google has shown that the 234 used in most could be somewhere between 224 and 234 - maybe as a result of things like tyre slip etc.

How can they work, it takes no consideration of gearing which is crtiacal to this calc as you have a low gear car with stupid hosepower and it woul dnever reach any real speed.

EG. Landrover is LOW BOX on a quater Mile ...... DAYS!
