sylva striker (raw engineering)
Hi all,
I work 4 miles away from Raw engineering (new owners of the striker) so if anyone wants parts picking up from them just send me a u2u and I will see
what I can do to help. Don't be afraid to ask even if you don,t know of me, I don't bite and it,s no trouble to go to them and ask
questions or pick up parts, so ask away.

Er, wow, thats a new one!!
I have been on this forum for a while and yet to see such open minded generosity!
Well I have a striker and may need some bits, so you could help me quite a bit.
I would like to visit RAW at some point though so the first pick up will be from myself as I need to chew thier ears of with q's!
Thanks for the offer and I am sure somebody will be along soon to ask for your assistance.
Maybe LCB should set up a free, no promised delivery date free service for people that want kit shifted about the country. Certain legs held by a
number of people to receive and pass on until the original orderer of the equipment can pick it up from a closer location. Like pass the parcel but
with out the unwrapping with every new person it contacts!!!
thanks again for the offer,
Bizz
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Me doing a sub 56sec lap around Brands Indy. I need a geo set up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHksfvIGB3I

Why wouldn't people just pick up the phone to call then direct or get them to post things out straight to them......... just an observation
obviously! - and if anything goes wrong ( which is far from unknown in kit car world lets face it ! ) why would you want to put yourself in the
middle of the resulting kerfuffle !!!

Just trying to be helpful. Maybe people want to pick up parts but can not get to Raw during normal hours, want to save on postage on large items,
can,t get a reply ect, the guys at Raw have helped me out with several queries and I'm building a locost but they are willing to help out
whatever your building. Just trying to be a helpful human being, and restore a little faith in human nature, not everyone has an alterior motive.

I wouldnt say they are the 'new' owners of the striker, I think theyve owned it since 2002!
However your offer is generous, and if I have any problems with deliveries from them I may will be contacting you!
Wish I was 4 miles from them, would have made collecting mine a damn site easier!

Under new management since 25th August 2010. Mel Coppock sold the company to Callum and Jeremy Bulmer.
Like I said before, just trying to be helpful, if you don't trust my motives just ignore me!!

Still in the Mels Workshop in Shelwick.
I have not yet met the new owners, I suspect they are of the same family of Bulmers cider fame. I'll let you know soon, as I am going to pay
them a visit next week, to see about getting some driveshafts shortened for my GT6/Cosworth Turbo project.
And thank you to those who have shown support.

Yes they are the 'Cider empire' brothers, although when I chatted to them in Feb when I picked mine up they gave me the impression the
family didnt get much from the 240m sale of the company back in 2004! I only met callum who seemed very nice, and martin who acctually builds the kits
is still there and seemed very knowlegable. I think they are still getting their heads around the company, and they did at first seem more interested
in getting the new site and the Phoenix up and running than fullfilling old orders (i placed mine in April 2010 and didnt get the car till Feb this
year!).
