thinking about 2 wheels..

has anyone got a kawasaki zx-6r... as thinking of buying one, im planning on selling the locost to fund this, as think now is the best time to do so as its just come back from ab performance, as andy has done an absolute load to it ie..

full engine and gearbox rebuild... fireblade 919
replaced 4th and 5th gears..
new clutch and springs..
new bailey morris resiliant prop..
removed waterpump and fitted electric one.. (frees off bhp)..
there is too much to list really..
invoice was £2500..
since getting it back i have driven it down the road and back. prob done 5 miles..

not 100 percent im selling it yet just toying with the idea as could do with the money to fund my bike..

if i did sell it i would be looking around £7500 mark as this car is very very well put together and is in outstanding condition.. just ask andy bates... pics are in my archive.....

My one and only new bike was a '96 ZX6R.
I guess they are even quiker now.

Was just about the best sports bike you could get back then.
Almost as quick as the 900 firebalde and lighter.
Even got 50mpg plus commuting.

Just wish I could have another one
Since being reversed into by a Tesco van, I have been banned for having a bike ,her indoors wants the Kids to have a Dad.

Suggest a new Honda 600RR.
Comes with Very Sophisticated ABS Plus it's simply a better designed/built machine than a Kawa.. Which by my observations over the last 35 years, has always been a "b" brand.
