Senna the movie
Just watched the new Senna film, not sure how long it was probably 2 hours but keeps you enthralled all the way through.
Definitely worth watching, footage you would not have seen is shown.
Only 34 when he died, and at the end of the day it was a tragic accident. Some of the accident footage makes you wince especially Martin Donnelly, but
I have to say I was up at Hethel a few years ago and Lotus had him as a demonstration driver for the day in an Elise, he could put a lap on a fast
Caterham with two laps, such pace.
For some reason I don’t warm to Ron Dennis and to be honest after listening to him throughout the film I like him less, he eludes to various reasons
none of them make racing sense and he is just trying to cause a stir if I was Schumacher I would run him over.
Senna was a very driven man (no pun intended) he only cared about one person on track and I don’t think he was a team player. He was a very quick
driver and it was a great shame he died.
Alan Prost was very good; he obviously hated the guy but kept a good perspective all the way through. I get the feeling he feels “there for the grace
of god” I am still around.
Jackie Stewart interview was good Senna tells him “what way is up” and comes across very well. The drivers briefings where also an eye opener, shame
we don’t see the current footage from todays F1.
Anyway highly recommend peoples watch it.

Yes
I’m not talking about compassion; he shows that in bucket loads in the film, including your clips. I’m talking about driving.

If you want another perspective on Ron Dennis and Senna then their a book about an irish racing driver who never made it into F1. Very interesting
read, in it he was (he admits) an arse but his view of Ron and Senna is interesting.
(Sorry i can't remember the guys name, i think the title was "flat out and broke".)

Senna?
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
