headlight deflecors/stickers

Does anyone have a pattern for headlight deflectors. I don't feel like giving Halfords a tenner for two bits of tape .
Thanks Denis

Looking around the interthingy it seems the French cops don't like bits of sticky tape bunged on the lights.
Do the deflectors actualy have to redirect the beam? or can you just block the left dip part?.
It might be dificult to get deflectors for the small lights I have on the seven.

And what do you do with projector type lights?

what lights are they?

My lights are the 4inch type but I think the beam cut off is as for motorbikes ie not dipped left, just up or down.

shouldn't be an issue then i think. as the dip is the same left or right, so you won't have the sort of 'kick up' blinding folk to the left. you shouldn't need to blank anything off. or rather, there won't be anything to blank off.

ditto that's why the beams point dead ahead, just like bikes these days there is no mods to make when going abroad.

Although saying that...I'd still double check the beam pattern against a wall though just in case, as the lamp unit may have side adjustment on dip.

Setting off to france tomorrow for the classic Laon meeting, over 1000 cars entered, should be good if the weather holds.

Hey Dennis, we've got 4 cars going down to Laon, getting the 9.30am Sea France on Friday morning. Weathers looking good, we're gonna have a great weekend again I'm sure. Hicosts big roll caged 7 in ali and yellow is probably the easiest one of us to spot.

1000 cars is a bit ambitious, 500 last year, apparently 650 this year

BTW, the cops around Laon are very relaxed and friendly, never heard of any problems.
