Pneumatic Control Valves
Very Very Loosely car related.....
anybody have a source for pneumatic's to do some control, I want to make a Gear selector system out of an Air Cylinder (acutally for a
Landrover).
What I need is a couple of 12v Air Solenoids, fitting and a compressor, possibly a gauge etc.
only valves I can find are on ebay at $62 Dollars from the US
Link
Was hoping for about £15 quid in in the UK need to be 12v
is there any "hobby" retailer that does ranges of this stuff cheap?
Scot's do it better in Kilts.

Many parts of the abs system on newer trucks and trailers are in fact solenoid valve like you speak of. Try wabco's website for an insight into
what could be available from your local breakers.
Also look at norgrens website. The only downside is that most of wabco's will be 24volt.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
