tin top paint/filler advice

Hi,

Need a bit of guidance please. My renault clio had an altercation with the driveway gate - rear quarter panel looks very ugly now.

My cousin is coming from up from the midlands to spray it for me but I need to get the correct paint/thinners/laquer and a good quality filler.

Is it best to go to Renault dealer for the paint or elswhere? I'll have to get the filler on the net I think unless local motor factors do this sort of thing?

I want the best quality paint and filler (professional) to get the best finish.

Thanks in advance.

Filler you can get from any motor factors. Paints a bit more tricky since EU regs came in so very difficult to buy locally as motor factors have stopped selling it, unless it's a rattle tin. Also depends on what type of paint he is going to use, water based. celle etc. found this guy very good www.trevordunn.co.uk

regards John
