I have found a good supplier of bike engines etc
Following a search for a part on my GSXR I have come across a very nice chap who break's bike.
He works from home but is a proper set up business supplying superbike parts and engines etc.
Based in Brough East Yorkshire and will post /courier anything he has fully gauranteed or your money back,I went to see him the other night and bought
a tyre, he had loads of bike batteries and told me to take as many as i want free, so I got 2 perfectly good ones. he said he doesnt sell bike
batteries as he cannot gaurantee them so takes them to the tip.
He also had a very clean 2008 zx10 engine ready to ship plus loads of other kit, he only breaks good bikes not crash damaged stuff.
If anybody is intersted then u2u me and i will pass on his details
Cheers

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

So there's more money to be made in breaking a bike and selling the individual parts, than the value of the bike itself?

There is if you have the v5 to go with the frame and all the bits that get damaged in a drop are in good condition (fairings, forks etc.)
I guess you also need to have a knack for buying at a good price too.
And I don't think he's referring to Malc - Brough, East Yorks is near Hull.
There's an eBay shop called Spares Unlimited in Hull, which I suspect could be it.

No none of the mentioned, I only came across him by chance.
He supplies alot of grass track boys and bike racers who fall off and bend a frame etc, when I was there he had a number of frames all v5 etc.

Can you not just post his details up, or does he sell by invitation only?

Why all the secreacy?
Post his details up as I am sure he would appreciate the free advertizing, but ask him first just in case.

I didnt want to advertise the guy generally on here as I know there is a traders section which people pay to join and that wouldnt be fair.

There's a difference between advertising and saying "I went to Big Dave's Bike Engine Rack in Wadsworth yesterday, does some
cracking bike engines and he even gave me as many batteries as I could carry (as he refuses to sell them because he can't guarantee
quality)"
Out of interest isn't the traders section for people who are peddling their wares on here?

I bought my throttle bodies from Spares Unlimited in Hull, and it certainly isn't a 'working from home' place - biggest bike
breakers I've been to
