Winter Tyres ? (tin-top)
So who's got them all sorted already ?
I think I've left mine a bit late this year as no one seems to have any left
I still have a pair of these:
linky with a bit of tread left, so
they'll just have to do me unless someone here knows of a source ?

Last year bought Nokian. had 11mm tread on them and are great in snow. Left on all year and done 30k now - can't speak highly enough of them and
Pneus online the Belgian tyre dealer.
This year bought Kuhmo ( Japanese glow in dark tyres ) cos Nokian were so expensive. Only 9mm tread though - dunno how they will work out cos i
'aint putting them on until it snows as the existing tyres are still at 4mm.
Cheers!

I've bought road legal rally tyres for the Zafera, like landy tyres for a normal car very soft compound and those were the medium ones too
the pictures really don't do them justice, they are even more chunky!
Just also bought another SWB Series III Landy for myself, brill
Let it snow

It is gonna snow, bigtime. I hope. Cuts the number of folk on the road by a decent amount and makes the place look nice - both positives!
My other half just bought (3 weeks ago) some Avon ice touring, look pretty nice but can only report when it starts snowing

Maybe a sticky thread somewhere reporting on how these winter tyres perform on dry, wet and snow?

I was thinking about buying winter tyres for the Stilo but they can not cheap and to be honest is it worth it for our UK weather!?!?!?!

Was just having a look for some for the Impreza but no one seems to have any decent reasonably priced ones in stock.
