Pffft I'd blow it away in a Furore! Ok, perhaps not
So where have the lights gone in pic 4 then???
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Would you really be content at driving it around at 35mph to achieve 118mpg? I know I couldn't.

Ford certainly seem to be "on it" at the moment with this ecoboost engine. I'm keen to have a drive of a Focus and Fiesta to see
what it's like on the road. I was pretty taken with the Ford/PSA 1.6 diesel motor in the V50 I had for a while (truly shite car held together
by a good engine), but the ecoboost seems to surpass that by some way.

Medium power and lightweight - the best combination
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

Quite impressive mpg at 35mph, but at 75 mph it only does 57mpg, which is just a couple of mpg better than the BMW 320d I was running until last year
(when it had 4 people and all our luggare in it). I wonder what mpg it gave when setting that lap time! I suspect this is a story more about good
mapping - We'll create a fast car, find out the lowest speed it'll run top gear (I suspect 35mph), and map it so that it can just get
enough fuel to run at that speed with no throttle - ta da magic fuel consumption and superb performance in one package.

Hugh

Yes but ~I know which i'd prefer to drive
Forget the fuel consumption, it's more that they're squeezing the performance from 1L

Yeah - looking forward to a drive of the new Focus ST - it's got to do better than the 23mpg I get out of my current ST!!!
