I had a look round once. Their cars are very very expensive and they are mainly interested in selling you finance at high rates together with extended warranties, high gloss polish for hundreds of pounds, GAP insurance, payment protection insurance and accessories whilst giving you precious little or less if they can get away with it for your part exchange.

The sales philosophy is in my opinion is in the finest tradition of the old fashioned high pressure used car sales person.

other than those minor things it's great

"That thing you're thinking - it wont be that."

My brother in law bought a Citroen AX from them about 10 years ago, it used to pull massively to one side and took it back and they never fixed it just said that it was supposed too! Very expensive and highly abusive if you try to get them to sort a problem. Steer well clear is my advice!

My son worked for them (briefly) He couldn't cope with the culture, so left.
He wouldn't buy a car from them.

Exact-a-mundo! Just what I was going to say.

You know it is a finance profit based organisation when all the cars have their prices on the screen in the format of "£xx per week"

You more or less get locked in once you step through the door, over priced cars by a LONG way

You have to go through the showroom to get into the outside car area, like a gauntlet of suits to make the next door.

Couldnt wait to get out, didnt buy anything and will never return.

I've not been myself but my dad said pretty much what been said here of that kind of place. Looking on the site the cars seem a bit pricey to me, as does the finance.

Just compared the first car on there to simillar on Auto trader from a regular dealer and it's a grand less, and in this case the same money from Peugeot's dealer network.

Last time I was there I asked for the keys for a car that I wanted to have a proper look at. About two hours later, and a lot of faffing about with prices, including insurance and every other expense I could think of they eventually threw a strop when I put my foot down. When I said something along the lines of "look, I'm self employed I don't know what I can afford without looking over my accounts, plus I only wanted the f**king keys so I can look inside, I mean does it even HAVE an engine? Now can I take those figures?" they tore them up and binned them in front of me.

The guy at the door asked me what he can do to get me to buy a car today. When I told him about the 4 "see you next tuesdays" who wouldn't let me look over the car he let it go.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
They make pikeys look like choir boys.
Told my mate they would give him a minimum of £3k for his car in part ex on a Disco.
After we had driven over 120 miles to get there they said the best that they could do wa £1700.
It then went downhill from there.

Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Horrible places. An old colleague bought from carcraft a 4 year old version of the same car as I had recently bought brand new, main difference was his was a lower spec. Guess who paid less? That's right, me, for a brand new car vs a 4 year old one.

Was once working round the back of Carcraft Leeds where they were valeting the cars with an industrial pressure washer. "Nothing unusual there" you say? But they had both front doors open and were doing the dashboard with it!!

My dad went to buy a car from them, and ended up arresting one of the employees after he became somewhat abusive following my dads sarcastic comments.
