Very simple in spray form, light coat twice does the trick on headlamps more required on other stuff.
Done the headlamp covers and some glazed kitchen cabinets using E-Tech.
VERY simple to remove with the E-Tech tint remover as well.

My brother has done a couple of his cars. (the windows) They need to be clinically clean and have no dust ANYWHERE around or you'll get bubbles
you can't get rid of (or dust trapped that you can see). If it's just for rear end that no-one cares about then it's not that hard.
Cut it larger than needed by a tiny bit and trim down with a razor blade after (not against the glass, you'll scratch it).
Warm water, stiff queegee (sp?) and patience. Seems fine with heater (heater doesn't get that hot anyway) but always goes a bit blue and tatty
after 5 years or so.

I'm never sure it does stop people seeing in the back. The opposite becomes true, anyone scally enough to want to know what's in your car
see's the dark windows and specifically goes to peer in.
It's helpful when you have no choice though, we often had to leave bikes in the back of a car parked in the middle of town while getting a bite
to eat, stops the casual walk-by but won't stop anyone actually willing to break into a car for a purpose. Especially when they're usually
smashed off their face on some mind bending chemical
