Google statistics
Every week I get a report on how many hits my works website gets, it is averaging about 5 a week! I am not convinced.
By way of an experiment, could everyone hit my [www] as many times as they can before terminal boredom sets in, to see if the graph gets a peak?
Thanks in advance
Mark

Ok, so I've got www now what's the rest of it?
There seems to be more than one web address out there.
Edited to say; Oops, stupid old fart, ah now I get it.
Done some.
So tomorrow should show at least ten.

If you get hits from Portugal (main page, cookie policy, used cars) it was me just now.
Looked quickly at the main page code and noticed the following: The script will only register statistics IF the visitor has accepted the cookie policy
(bar at the top of the page). I have to admit I was not paying much attention to the site contents, but the cookie policy acceptance bar was so
discrete (although big) that it went unnoticed. I just saw the bar when I went specifically looking for it because the code said it should be there
The code says that if the user has ignored the bar or accepted the policy with only "Essentials", there is no analytics's
tracking.
As a side note, analytics should also discard all accesses originating from search engine spiders/bots. This should be transparent to you but best I
mention it.
Hope this can help you figuring out why such low results and then try to get some support from Google.

Another two from here, although it might just count as one time per comp with the cookies and general net cleverness

It is already installed (by Toyota) but we don't have access to any options on the site as it is administrated by the Big T

Another one here at 22.18 (if it gives times), clicked several pages
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

My job as performance test analyst gives me access to tools that could properly exercise your site, anywhere from a gentle few hits all the way up to
a denial of service attack. I'd be happy to send a few hundred hits your way if that would help you?
