Joey Dunlop program last night
Anyone else watch the Joey Dunlop documentary last night?
I'm a casual observer of the TT, never having been into bikes. Familiar with the Dunlop name, but hadn't appreciated quite the scale of
his achievements or the circumstances of his demise. It must take a very different breed of man to ride with that much commitment!

I watched it and was in the exact same boat before. I'd heard the name but had never realised how good he was! Quite an amazing story though.
Couldn't believe he died whilst racing a 125cc; always thought it was a big 1000cc.
On a different note... did that guy keep a bloody tiger in his shed?
Mark.

Again fascinating to learn how he could win in whatever class he chose to enter.
Did wonder about the tiger

I watched it expecting his demise to result from a rear wheel collapse at the TT - realised later that was Robert Dunlop.
Certainly a family who have had their share of tragedy....

I recorded it to watch later, he was a hero but the whole family seem to have the talent.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
