go pro external mic

anyone using one, love the camera hate the sound

ive got a 3, would like reviews or what kit you purchased to do it

Mine is an HD Hero2 but i use one of these microphones, and am happy with the results. Certainly using an external mic is a vast improvement from having to listen to constant wind noise with the internal one.

I bought the mic from Dogcam and this is th result:

LINKY

Its a little windy as i had it in the wrong place but its a far cry from my Hero 1 with out the mic

Ive got the Hero 3 and Ive made a special cable so that i can still use the standard case with the door shut, and used a mic from amazon that im not to happy with as its crackling badly.


Might try the dogcam one, check on web theres often a 10% for dogcam.
