Marlin 5Exi Chassis....
Always thought the cars were strangely intriguing... bit girly, but I like the Strathcarron connection.
And then I saw the chassis which I thought was a bit... erm... interesting!

Obviously triangulation isn't that 5EXI.

It's pretty well triangulated I think, which bits are you referring to?
This is what put me off the 5EXI more than anything (apart from the name!):

I know a bit about that chassis. Geo is a huge step forward from the standard car but it's essentially still Marlin beyond that.

The name is a big turn-off. It strikes me as being utterly bizarre that they persevere with it as it gets roundly panned!
If I ever bought one, the first thing I would do is remove any 5exi decals!

When I first saw it on the web I quite liked it. A Marlin 5 EXi sounded OK and it looked great. Then I saw it at a show with 5exi written all over
it and I thought "No!". Then I saw the rear drive shafts and walked away.
