Tin Top air con
Afternoon all
I have had a leak form the air con on my 2006 Saab 9-3 for a while. Leak seal and a re-gas seemed to do the trick but this week it stopped working
again.
I have now found when I topped it up again that there is a leak from the low pressure valve you fill the system from. It looks very much like a tyre
valve in a steel pipe.
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the valve insert like on a tyre valve or do I need a new rigid pipe?
Cheers
Rog

Yes the valve just unscrews but it will be cheaper & better for for the environment to get an ac specialist to do a proper pump down leak test
and refill..

Thanks for the replies
I did have it tested last year and was told there were no leaks. If it's the valve I guess that makes sense since it would have been connected
to the machine via the valve.
I will see if I can tighten it. If not off to a specialist to have it sorted.
Thanks
