MK1 escort
Following my previous post regarding what it was worth I have now purchased a MK1 Escort 1300 Super Automatic 1 lady owner from new 27,500 miles
absolutely original only welding is around the battery tray. Kept in a carpeted garage all it's life!! There can't be many like this left.
Being the Automatic it has the big tunnel.

I would have liked to nick it but they had an idea what it was worth! I paid about what every one thought it was worth

Well do the repairs well, stick it in a carpeted garage and dont touch it for 20 years.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

The old lady is still with us! She brought it when she was 20 so is 64 now and was very aware of what the car was worth
