Astra front hub bearing replacement advice

Hi Guys,

Just looking for some advice please, i 'm looking to replace the front hub bearing on my 55 plate Astra tomorrow, i have a Haynes manual and reading through the process point it says that in replacing the bearing you will need to also replace the lower pinch bolt, and the track rod end nut. can anyone advise whether this is true or can i use the original pinch bolt.

if i am replace them, without taking all the suspension apart first, does anyone know the threads and pitches of the pinch bolt and track rod end.

i have the new bearings here and the only bolts provided were the mounting bolts of the bearing itself and a new hub nut

Any helpful advice welcome!

ATB

Alex

Can't say I've ever replaced pinch bolts or nuts when I've done anything on the front suspension of cars. Unless they are knackered
