Are these designed as footrests or for an aero application?

The latter, but Olly easily modified his for a footrest application:

Next up - I got cutting up some of the carbon goodies I had bought - I had my eye on a carbon passenger footrest on eBay which ended up selling for
£132 eeeeek , so decided to make one from the bits I got
Got the saw out
Then the grinder, so it slots over the box section as the outside of the footwell gets narrower towards the front of the car
Job jobbed, proper happy with how easy it fitted in... all in all, a productive night for once

It looks good but advertised on ebay as a genuine product, which is a bit of a porky!

Not really, it says "real genuine carbon fibre" - which it is.

'real genuine carbon fibre lightweight, yet very strong navigators footrest passenger foot plate.'
Thats what it says, just hope no one thinks its the real article like the ones in the links.

Sam, kindly fück off will you, you're clearly looking for an argument, go back to PH where you enjoy doing it there.
I could list it as a fücking door stop if I wanted to, or a ski slope for dwarves.
There are enough photos and measurements for people to make their own mind up
Do one.
Regards

blah blah, bringing others into the equation for self assurance. Your haing a good go at an argument when you firstly didnt want one.
So why dont you do one yourself, or is this an exclusive yellowcab forum which you seem to think? your abusive language isnt a good example is it now?
