audi a4 steering rod ends
Do any of you guys know how to set these up properly? Mot due next week, 6 months ago they said I needed to replace the ball joint covers and the
joints are fine, but it turns out the joints are all very worn, so I'm replacing them, all 10 of them. A new set of control arms (with ball
joints and bushes), steering rod ends, and anti roll bar links and new bolts was less than £100. May not be top quality, but its a 90bhp diesel with
187k on it, it doesnt need the best of parts on it imo.
The steering rods ends look like this
Theres something about the bolts in the end for setting the suspension at 2 different heights, but I cant find any guides on doing it. I plan to get
the alignment done before the mot, but would need to get it close myself

But I will be raising it a bit when I do the bottom control arms. Its only a little bit too low

Stupid as it sounds, adjustable coil overs was cheaper than 4 standard shocks with new spring platforms, and I needed new shocks
