Used Car warranty
A friend is buying a 5 year old car and is interested in getting aftermarket warranty. A big automatic Volvo 4x4.
Has anyone got any advice/experience of decent companies who are out there.

I've bought cars with a warranty from warrenty direct. The garage has been impressed with what they cover - but you may not get the same cover
as a private individual.

'Which' did a report on them
I had a look after my alfa brera expired
You can get full warranties that cover wear and tear and even mot time
Warranty direct are very good but from memory cover failure, not wear
andvif the cars got a few miles up it you can put pretty much anything down to wear
We had a customer with an old 300tdi discovery with one of these warranties and they covered everything,i think the claim limit was the market value
of the car
Google used car warranties, theres some good products out there
I think if you buy private you have a month before you can claim

If he's buying it through a dealer might be worth seeing what they can offer as they might be able to do it a bit cheaper.
In a White Room, With Black Curtains, By the Station.

He has beaten them up on the price, there is nothing left for them to give really.
Also, the company they use for warranty is getting poor reviews on a google search.
