So you thought lock-ups were small business???
So you thought lock-ups were owned by a local householder?
Wrong - seems as if someone-else realised their potential...

PLEASE come and say that to my missus.... I could move house and have everything in a single box van (furniture included). She'd need one van
just for her clothes!!

My stuff in the house - probably an estate car's worth
Mrs's stuff in house - several trucks
However - my stuff in garage, shed, green house, 2 other garages ...... well that's another matter so I'm saying nowt.
There again did just fix the daily driver for nothing using bits off a car I broke for parts in 1985. As I say, I have to keep everything because some
of it will come in use at some time the only thing is I can't say which bits and when.

There's a programme called "Business Boomers" with Sandi Toksvig on BBC2 tonight (Monday), all about the storage business. If
it's anything like as good as last week's programme about coffee shops it'll be worth a look.
The point about just getting rid of clutter is a good one - I work on the principle of "I haven't touched -whatever- for the past xxx
years, I really don't need it any more" and decide whether I really need it; the answer usually is "no". Of course, once I
get rid of it, I'll need it within 2 weeks!
