Pitking GPS Lap Timer

I was interested in buying a Pitking GPS Lap Timer as marketed by JJC and Demon Tweeks. I am interested in the data logging capability but JJC could tell me nothing. I found one less than good review on an ebay item: 141154641000

I was looking for something that can link with RaceRender or the like and give lap times on the dash.

Anybody had any experience good or bad or recommend something?

Have you looked at apps for your smart phone?

Just a thought,...

Thats what I use, check out my vids for idea of quality. I brought Racerender to edit the two together.

I use Trackmaster on Android and have used Harry's laptimer on iphone. Both good apps.

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!
