Little car got signed off by the MSA scrutineer yesterday for sprints and hill climbs

Hopefully see you out there Jeff once I've saved for my overalls and hat.

I'm around 500bhp/ton

Cool....look forward to seeing you out and about Mark. Have a look on Ebay for a suit but I'd suggest a new lid...and remember you need gloves (but not boots).

eBay is good for used suits and gloves! How far are you travelling to events mark? Any further north

I'll see how I get on with distance, have trailer + old estate car so can always kip in that if required although travel lodge always looks good.

I intend competing in the Aston Martin sprint series in my DB7, then probably the more local ones in the little car.

This has been a long time ambition, pennies and responsibilities/free time are all coming together now at the ripe age of 50 it's been a long wait so getting into the bucket list.

Just have to hope it's not contagious!

Let me know which sprint you are going for first and if I'm there we'll pit next to each other and I'll 'walk' you through the day. I started at 50 as well....and it is contagious !

Would be good to get a few more of us to the blyton weekend in July! As far as I'm aware I'm the only one entered from here, so could be a lonely weekend! I kip in my car too mate. It's not the best but funds are tight and I'd rather spend my £100 on entry rather than a hotel!

Are you doing the wscc sprint in July jeff? It's a full weekender so should get plenty of seat time and ruined tyres. Lol
Look on uphillracers in club sprint section for details! Nick Algar is comp sec and very helpfull. Signing on process is easy to. All on line with no forms to send

Doubtful as I'm double-heading in June. Long way from Kent. I'm at Coombe twice in July (!)
