Help with my car lights
Hi there,
I'm trying to fit some caterhsm style lights to a kit car not a seven, I'm making my own mounts now I'm struggling to get the lights
to sit level due to touching the bodywork.
Now I'm fully aware that if the writing on the lights aren't level that they are not aligned correctly but would there be an issue if the
writing on the lense was say at a 5 to 10 degree angle?
Or should the lense be sitting level to aid correct alignment?
Any help much appreciated
Greg

I take it you can't rotate the lense on the housing of the light?

Annoyingly no
It's not the end of the world just means undoing a bit of work, just wondered if it would make any difference

Just thought I would suggest the obvious.
If you have been stewing over this in the garage some times you just don't realise the obvious. Been there, done that!

Thanks again for your suggestion after looking at the lights closer I was able to modify them to twist the lense within the rim enough to get them
sitting right. This saved me soooo much work, thanks again for stating the obvious
