Fiesta st 2.0 Turbo help
Hi all i dont have a kit but i do have have a 2006 fiesta st150 use it daily untill i bought a diffrent car on a whim last week ..
I think the fez is a cracking litttle car handles extremely well i have coilovers all round and good tyers however lacks power 140 ish i think they
are i tryed a focus st but apart from the exhaust note i strangely prefer the fez ...
Also have drove a focus mk1 rs loved it however there becoming big money and most are high mileage now
I have had a thought of turboing my fiesta would like an idea of a realistic figure to do this to the 2.0 duratec on some kind of budget I don't
want massive power 240-250hp would be plenty for a little fiesta and im sure it will fly at that
Will the gearbox handle this ?
Will i need to run a omex or similar ? Or can i use the stock ecu?
Thought this would be the place to ask and to get talked into going ahead
Merry christmas
Ryan

To charge the fez you will need after market control. In the states they would use the oem ecu and re scale the maf to allow for the extra breathing.
But it's not ideal.
I am charging a Focus engine with the Rs ecu as it has Map and maf.
Should be bolt on 220 bhp and remap s for more.
For me I would look to the mazda 3 mps.

did one 4 years ago
its just a Duratec engine with a better inlet manifold and exhaust manifold than the mondeo
so tuning is up to you up to 300 bhp ish without turbo
200 is easily obtainable
throttle bodies is a good start .
gearbox is good for 200 or more if reworked using Quaife parts . lsd ect
sequential if you want !
emerald do a good ecu so do omex
as previous post its all bolt on to start
look up Duratec tuning there's loads .
BE ALERT > BRITAIN NEEDS LERTS

Talk to Dale at Bailey Performance, I believe he has made huge amounts of power with a turbo ford engine with quite a few standard parts I believe.
You might have to drop the Oem ecu for megasquirt but would pretty much have to do that with whatever you do
