Hi IO currently have the standard sierra master cylinder fitted the braking effort needed is massive can anyone recommend an alternative cylinder to
replace the sierra one

Early mk1-2 Fiesta non-servo should be an easy swap. Done before on here with reported good results. Also some Fiat (Uno?) masters mentioned as well
Search should find the threads.

Basically you need a smaller bore master cylinder or a larger pedal ratio.
The master cylinder that Adithorp mentions is 17.4mm bore.

Hi. Ive just had exactly the same problem on my cobra. Turned out it was the servo that was knackered. Cheers Steve.
