Bosch ve diesel pump
I want to fit a Bosch ve pump to an old ford 1.8 diesel engine.
The vast majority of these engines have Lucas/CAV pumps.
The Bosch ve pump was fitted to some non turbo Fiesta/Escorts before 2002
So i have been looking on ebay and some of the pumps sold as used look very new.
Here is an example ebay item 111694700893 also 171791250348
these pumps look imaculate compared to my 1999 berlingo pump.
My question is are there fake/knock-off ve pumps out there?

from left to right, xud turbo (compensator on top),xud non turbo (note the three mounting slots),
Ford (note the three mounting M8 tapped holes,DW8 (note nearly same mounting as ford but sprocket 3mm closer to mounting face).
The ford one is said to be from a courier van but it looks impossably new for this to be true.
Can anyone shed light on what these new looking pumps are recon/new old stock/chinese etc?
