Reminds me of the 80's/90's where the number of Volkswagens and Mercedes being driven around with absent badges was quite high...

That was too easy......and very funny Mark.
I've also seen some ugly steel strips pop riveted over the windscreen corners on an old Peugeot, not sure if it was to hold in the screen or
deter thieves.
