Fault code reader Inverness. Massive help needed
Please anyone around Inverness able to help us. Family and dog are 600 miles from home. Our Hyundai Tucson has decided to kick out a fault and Hyundai
in Inverness can’t do anything for 2 weeks and my only other option is get ring Hyundai recovery but they will recover to the local Hyundai garage.
Again not going to help much.
We lost power and the ecu light came on, rested car for a while and it’s driving fine but light is still on.
We are here tonight then pickup a motorhome tomorrow morning for the week.
So if anyone can help tonight that would be amazing.
Thanks
Ben

I’m starting to wish I’d brought 1 of my 2 readers with me now
Think this might be next best idea. They have a cheap nasty one for £20

Cheap and nasty is fine, you only want to read the code, note what it is then erase the code and see if it drives ok.
I had an occasional engine light that turned out to be a coil pack failing, read code, erased code.
