R56 Mini
Hello,
Does anyone know the distance between centres of the struts in the towers on the front of a R56 mini, or R53 mini, I believe they are the same
Cheers

Have you asked on the Mini owners website and I'm sure one of them would get a tape measure out and advise ?

David,
Out of curiosity - are you making a strut brace or something similar?
I ask, because I've looked into thisfor other cars in the past and always found aftermaret ones made for the car make/model to be pretty
inexpensive and readily available. That said I've never looked for new Mini's.

I am looking into the possibility of using the modern mini suspension on a classic mini powered by a Tesla Model 3 rwd motor in the front, I have
already drawn out and purchased most parts to do this using mgtf components, it's unlikely that I would change at this point just exploring the
idea of the macpherson strut suspension, just to keep the grey matter ticking over.

Sounds a much more challenging and rewarding project tha fabricating a strut brace - good on you.
Be sure to post some pictures if you make the move from paper/though to metal/motion.
