Nice - I can see the attraction there!
For our Mr Whippy it would need a trip to the Halfords paint dept. though for a camo paint scheme

Yes it's a very nicely done conversion apart from the loss of boot space but getting a 40kwh battery in that car was never going to be easy!
They were very good cars, I miss mine sometimes. Unfortunately they had the crash rating of a crisp packet...

For those interested in other such conversions, Rich Rebuilds are putting an electric motor in a Corvette.

Lots of humour and mucking about in there but they also appear to be good mechanics too.
I definitely find US projects a bit more interesting that a 10 year, turbo'd mini project. ;-)
