Yes that was a predictable outcome

The level of tyre loading in an F1 car is vastly higher than you'd ever achieve. However there are slicks, and semi-slicks, that offer a significant increase in performance over normal road tyres for lightweight non-aero cars.

Also, when not up to temp, they wear horribly.
