Which panels to get ?

Hi i have a luego locost with a luego locost scuttle which is about 250mm high i need to get a new nose cone and bonnet and wanted to know which ones would fit .

I know Stuart taylor is book based but unsure who else.

Also could anyone measure the height of there scuttle/bonnet as i need to mae sure it would clear my R1.

Yes i know it is a stupid question i probably will get them from there but what i really want to know is how high it will be and whether it will clear my R1 which i have been told in the BEC forum that it wont.

Have you tried putting your original nose cone on and running a string line between the nose and the scuttle ?. That way you will see if you need any extra height and possibly save you some money

Just because people say their bodywork is for the book Locost doesn't mean it's interchangeable from one firm to another...it all varies quite a bit.

Probably not as straight a swap as you might hope, this does not mean that they won't fit, just that you might have to mod them a tiny bit to make them fit like a glove

The GTS panels are taller than most but so is their scuttle so you would need that as well i think.
Surely you could knock up a bonnet bulge to make the lower bonnet fit?

I meant you won't be able to mix n match parts from different people...so if you get MK it all has to be MK.....same goes for GTS etc
