Once again a great day organised by Richard Armstrong from the Porsche 928 owners club. The morning started off very wet which led to some testing conditions. For once the forecasters got it right and the rain stopped after lunch
It was great to meet Nathan (asl) with his nice looking Indyblade who seemed to be having a great time as the track dried out.
There were a couple of numpties this time who thought it would be alright to overtake by diving down the inside of the corners, and I know one who will not be invited to any more of Richards track days .
The next event will be Silverstone southern circuit on 2nd Sept and Richard has spaces left so let me know if you are interested and I will forward on his details.
Anyway here is the video LINKY

Great video Dave, you were braver than me in the moist conditions I was driving like Miss Daisy was in the car!!

Different story when it was dry, the 888s are awesome and I found that the porsches were holding me up!

Great to meet you and can't wait for Silverstone!

You did have to go from a standing start
How did you do on saturday?

Saturday was tough! There was no standard production car class so I was in with road modified, including 6 Elises, a VVC Rover, MX5 and others!

And I've only been there once before and that was 15 years ago!

I tried to concentrate on finding a line but even that wasn't easy!

I'll be back next year though!

Richard is looking at getting the names for Silverstone as soon as possible as he needs to pay the circuit. Its £160 for the day and he needs 60 cars to break even. At the moment he has 43 confirmed so the more names he can get the better.
