veld - 7/2/12 at 05:53 PM

Hello,

i am the owner of a Megabusa and i would like to fix a roll cage on my car.
I have see differents products but it's not easy to choice (Playskool, Westfield, Safety device....)
What is your idea about this, i don't practice race but only road and circuit for pleasure....
Thanks in advance.

I've ordered a number of things from Playskool and they are great to work with. I also believe they have close links to the Westfield Speed Series.

Cheers
Paul

Depending on what you want, it may be worth talking to Matt at procomp. Do you need FIA certification?

veld - 8/2/12 at 07:16 AM

I don't need a FIA certification but it's better....
I have see than Playskool have two differents roll cage , with different weight...

procomp - 8/2/12 at 11:29 AM

Hi

We Procomp do indeed offer a fully FIA certificated cage for the westfield that has passes the very latest FIA testing which also includes THE MOUNTING POINTS.

Price is £850 - £950 depending on the exact specification and side intrusion protection required. That's fully fitted with the extra chassis members fitted and painted. weight is 22 Kg with driver side protection.

Unfortunately as our cage is fully FIA certificated and we follow the FIA code to the letter we can not supply the cage as a delivered bolt in item it has to be fully welded and fitted to the car by ourselves which is where the problem will be if you are outside off the UK.

Cheers Matt
