Hi all, track day at anglesy yesterday, just before lunch break con rod decided to show its face, engine out today stripped, big end failer big time,
any one with a spare busa??
gezza
yorkshire engines had a pair of spare busa bottom ends if I remember
Aw bugger, thats a shame.
Anglesy and Busa's don't seem to like each other, yours is the second one to die there,
both dry sumped as well.

Hi chaps, thanks for replys, Chris happened on national circuit, at the end of start finish , is it school corner? funy thing is i was not even
driving it was my very good friend jim, anyway these things happen. have u2u malc waiting to see if he has anything.
gezza
Bad luck Gezza!! School was always reputed to be an engine killer. Nice corner tho!
Hi derek, nice corner, its mega 100mph through it is ace, got quick shifter now as well, car was amazing but they always say they go better just
before they blow, anyway we will be back, but i have the piston and rod to mount on a piece of hardwood just for jim haha.
regards gerry
The 'other' Busa engine that died, was on the International GP circuit which doesn't have School in it (just for info). Were you
running slicks Gerry?
Sorry to hear about the news.
Phil
Hi Phil, no not slicks just screeming 888s, sideways out of the hairpin on to straight touching 110 and then after a full morning it gave up, looking at the engine apart form no2 cyl, all was ok nothing untoward at all, just seems to be bearing failiure on no2, i have to admit we did use the limiter quite a lot
