Discounted prices
Andy B - 11/9/09 at 01:34 PM

As a result of going into production with our new car we are having to purchase many fundamental items in larger quantities to get discounted prices.
It seems sensible to pass these on in some way as the more we buy the better the prices, which helps us drive down the price of the new car and saves you guys and girls some dough. Initially the savings are not huge but if volume increases I will adjust prices accordingly.
I will attempt to put a spreadsheet together over the weekend and post it on here.
At present the list covers most service items for the mainstream bike engines namely oem clutches, oil filters, sparkplugs etc
2.4 escort quick racks
Wilwood powerlite calipers
Wilwood midlite calipers
Quick release bosses
Polymatrix e brake pads for the wilwood range
Silicon hoses and loads more
In addition we now stock a complete range of barnett clutch springs as well as all the usual billet sumps etc
One day I will get my useless IT man to update my website and get it all online
Regards
Andy

Looks the donkies danglies that! If it goes as good as it looks it will trounce the competition. Not that you need a new car to do that after winning the championship with two races to go!

Hammerhead - 11/9/09 at 08:20 PM

that looks good to me! can't wait to see a real one. maybe you should get a new it man?

good luck.

looking good there Andy, where do i sign

franky - 11/9/09 at 09:32 PM

Looks nice, a bit like the spire gt-r too. I don't mean that in a bad way, its the best design for a GT-R type car.

What sort of price is it going to be?

gixermark - 11/9/09 at 10:05 PM

how fast is that mister ???

Andy B - 12/9/09 at 09:05 AM

Thanks for the votes of confidence people, I always wanted to go into production with a car of our own and then put in place the structure to properly support it.
As with so many projects of this type, if I had reallly appreciated how many hours, sleepless nights, problems and general grief it would take to get this far, I might have just gone down the local instead!!
It is anticipated that rather than kit form it will be supplied either turnkey or in large ready built sub assemblies so that people can assemble them very rapidly. We have spent a lot of time jigging so that things just fit properly.
I am currently spending my nights doing all of the part spreadsheets so we can price them up correctly.
As for you mister Crawford (gixermark) "how fast is she mister?" we will be offering you your usually on/off switch as a direct replacement for a throttle so you should be able to carry on pasting everthing in usual fashion
Congratulations on the championship by the way
Must go now - got to crack the whip on the fibreglass lads
regards
Andy

fesycresy - 12/9/09 at 07:51 PM

It would be cool to see that in a one make series.

GreigM - 13/9/09 at 09:42 PM

Andy, am I right in thinking the quick rack is a good option when added to wide track front suspension? I plan to do the wide track over the winter, so if this will work together put me down for one. I'll also get some more oil sent up at the same time.

Kriss - 14/9/09 at 03:42 PM

firstly - car looks fab Andy

I will need new frictions and steels for am '03 R1 and also the upgrade clutch spring plate thingy

are escort and sierra quick racks interchangable at all? i want to speed up um indy steering which is a modified sierra rack

easisatman - 14/9/09 at 03:46 PM
