How are Kamala expecting to get away with this?

http://www.kamalacarsltd.com/

There's a picture right on the front page of their website.

Just read through the feature in this month's Kit Car magazine, and no mention in there either, but presumably they will be advising their customers to leave the 'windscreen' off until after the IVA?

How people are going to see through it when it's raining I don't know either, as there is no windscreen wiper in evidence.

Purely a wind deflector??

blakep82 - 1/3/09 at 05:49 PM

never mind the windscreen, why is it so ugly?!

adithorp - 1/3/09 at 05:49 PM

At that height it's a windscreen by SVA reg's and I presume for IVA as well (haven't read IVA)

A deflector has to be well below the driver's eyeline.

Wow - they've butchered that about.

Original Dax Kamala had doors, roof and proper windscreen...

No front indicators, no wing mirrors. Certainly wouldn't pass SVA/IVA looking like that.

It does look like a huge orange duck-billed platypus though

imagine that coming up behind you on a motorway...

Indicators might be in the headlight units.

Id also assume screen will be accidently left at home for IVA. Might be a holder in dash for screenX for later road use (yeah - i know it doesnt work that well at low speeds).

Could it get away without mirrors if it has rear cameras fitted?
