T5 mission,could this be made road legal?

I'm loving the shape and design of this.
Could it be made road legal and at what cost?
I've funds and time available if it's possible

With the right tyres, mirrors, lights in correct place and normal iva bits oh and of course exhaust go noise and get emissions right, I see no reason why not.

Thanks for that, I wonder what you'd need to budget on top of the purchase price for making it road legal?

Are you actually wanting to drive that on the road?

It's so low and setup with racing suspenesion. The first pothole/kerb/speedbump will destroy it... Simply raising the suspension will probably bugger the suspension geometry unless you move the mounts.


I looked into doing something similar a few years ago and decided it wasn't worth it...

The point is - you will have to make significant changes to get it through IVA, e.g. getting the headlights & indicators to a legal height. Then you have to raise it so you don't get wiped out on the first speed bump you encounter. After all that, plus all the other changes you'll have to include, will it still look like the car you fell in love with?

You'd be better off going for a car that was designed for the road from the start, knowing that when you have finished building it will look like the demonstrator car you admired so much.

The trailer is included in the sale.
The only place you will get anywhere near to the limits of what this car can do is on the track.
So trailer it there, thrash it, trailer it back.
You get more enjoyment out of it and no hassle of modification for IVA.

anything is possible with a big enough budget and tame and effort.
Is it a practical prospect? now that is a completely different question , with a different answer.

The Lotus 11 kits used pods for the lights to get them to the correct height for IVA
Most fell off after IVA to revial the original lower lights.

If you like the look of this then search out the Spire GT - very similar, choice of engines and many are road legal.
