Hi all,
I am building a Haynes Roadster and am currently looking at suspension.
I have seen some sites that sell them as sets, such as:
http://www.protechshocks.co.uk/haynes-roadster-sports-car-suspension-kit/ for £452.
I have also found I can buy coilovers that fit the specs required here:
http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=5237
If I buy them at Rally Design then for the 4 and the 4 springs will come to about £310. Are the Gaz shocks good enough?
Also what free length springs do people go with? They have 1.9" springs ranging from 6" to 10" on Rally Design.
Thank you
I have a used set of avo shocks and springs for£200, need light refurb- cosmetic.
I will have a set of 4 Gaz shocks available with a selection of spring rates (from about 200-700, your choice) in a couple of weeks, say £185 posted?.
All in good fully working condition.

I have used protech shocks on a couple of different cars and they are very good and very helpful when you call them.
Protech shocks for me good quality and always helpful on the phone .
Protech shocks are much better and have better valving than most but still not brilliant.
If I was buying again I'd get a set of protechs from ProComp as they are valved and balanced correctly for our cars.
The main problem is valving.
Our cars weigh half a tin top. The bump and rebound settings often work outside our use.
Procomp supplied protechs here and get my vote.
So it'd be a risk getting Gaz shocks if no one can confirm that they can be adjusted far enough for a car as light as a haynes/kit car. It may have to be protechs then
